Mame Dining Table by Hallgeir Homstvedt takes its name from the Japanese word for bean, its design inspired by the soft, sweeping curve of a kidney bean. Born from a ten-day workshop at the Ariake factory in Saga, Mame has gentle and organic detailing: its fluid silhouette shapes both the soft profile of the tabletop and the distinctive form of its legs in a geometry that is as much an engineering solution as an aesthetic one, allowing for a remarkably slender leg profile without compromising stability.
