Together with the Norwegian designers Runa Klock and Hallgeir Homstvedt, Abstracta takes a new step in the ambition to create better soundscapes. The result is Lily - a acoustic lamp that also contributes to visual calm in public and open office spaces.
Lily, 120 cm in diameter, is intended to be used in bigger spaces, such as restaurants, large atrium's and open office areas, environments where noise levels are high and where the amount of visual information can be great.
"We want Lily to increase the intimacy of big rooms, by defining a room in a room and distinct zones,» says the designers. They prefer to hang the lamp in clusters, inspired by the flower giving its name.
