Little Big Lamp
Like the name suggests, this lamp comes in a small package but unfolds to show its grandeur. The construction of the lamp is based on light reflectors used in photo studios, and allows this 130 cm lamp to coil up and fit in a 40 x 40 cm box for easy shipment.
The large diameter lamp is designed to create an intimate zone in a room, much like an umbrella in the rain. The lamp has a low profile and therefore does not take up a lot of space in the room. It's real size is only experienced when you are directly underneath it.
This lamp was designed for the 2010 NP exhibition according to the brief; that all products can fit in the hand luggage on a plane.
